Hello fine people. I’ve made a correction to a post from April where I misnamed a cocktail. Perish the thought, right? So, the actual name is the Kansai Kick and it was created in 2010 by John deBary at PDT. The main ingredient is the really wonderful Yamazaki 12-Year-Old Japanese Single Malt Whisky. Here’s the recipe. I know you’ll all sleep better now that I’ve corrected the error AND with this tasty cocktail on board. Oh, and I’d love to hear your experience of this drink. And if you’ve got other cocktails with Madeira (a Portuguese fortified wine) and lime juice in them, I gotta know about them. Pretty please. Cheers.
